Reviews

Alexander Marev reveals himself from the very first lines before the proconsul’s cavatina. His voice is solid, well-placed, youthful, expressive, resonant, and valiant.

For his part, the Bulgarian-Polish tenor Alexander Marev, in the role of Flavio, a Roman centurion and friend of Pollione, shines despite a brief appearance, thanks to a powerful, well-controlled voice with a somewhat dark timbre, at times even more resonant than that of his fellow tenor.
Norma, Toulon Opera, Olyrix, Jun 29, 2025
Alexander Marev, habitué de la maison, donne une authentique leçon de style par le galbe de sa ligne de chant et la clarté enivrante de son timbre. / Alexander Marev, a regular in the house, gives a genuine lesson in style with the curve of his vocal line and the intoxicating clarity of his timbre.
