BIOGRAPHY
Born in Pavia in 1994, after high school scientific studies, Lorenzo Liberali graduated in opera singing at the Conservatorio Vivaldi in Alessandria with top marks, subsequently took part of the ‘Accademia Rossiniana Alberto Zedda’ in Pesaro and the ‘Bottega Donizetti’ in Bergamo; he has been teached by Fiorella Pediconi and Alessandro Corbelli, actually he continues his studies under the guidance of Pietro Spagnoli.
Lorenzo Liberali is winner of awards in different singing competitions, (Monterosso, City of Ferrara, Competition Giulio Fregosi), winner of the International Opera Competition Enzo Sordello and, most recently in 2025, the Mascagni International competition, in which he took home three prizes.
In 2025/2026 he will perform ‘Gobineau’ in Menotti’s MEDIUM at the Mascagni Festival Livorno, ‘Haly’ in L’ITALIANA IN ALGERI at the Teatro Coccia Novara and Teatro Lirico Sassari, ‘Kaidamà’ in IL FURIOSO ALL’ISOLA DI SAN DOMINGO (family version) within the Festival Donizetti in Bergamo, ‘Dum’ and ‘Ghiro’ in Valtinoni’s opera ALICE NEL PAESE DELLE MERAVIGLIE with the Teatro Sociale Rovigo; more to be announced briefly.
In season 2024/2025, he was ‘Marco’ in GIANNI SCHICCHI at the Teatro Coccia in Novara, ‘Marullo’ in RIGOLETTO’ in Pavia, Como, Cremona and Bergamo, ‘Montano’ in OTELLO at the Teatro Coccia Novara and Teatro Sociale Rovigo, ‘Sagrestano’ in TOSCA at the San Gimigniano Festival with Teatro Goldoni in Livorno.
In previous seasons, among other commitments, he had already the opportunity to perform ‘Simone’ in L’AIO NELL’IMBARAZZO (Donizetti Opera Festival), ‘Riccardo’ in Rota’s NAPOLI MILLIONARIA’ (Teatro Goldoni Livorno, Teatro Verdi Pisa, Teatro del Giglio Lucca), ‘Enrico’ in L’ISOLA DISABITATA at the Rossini Festival Wildbad, ‘Don Bartolo’ in IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA and ‘Belcore’ in L’ELISIR D’AMORE, both with the ‘VoceAllOpera’ Association in Milan, the baritone part in Orff’s CARMINA BURANA in Pordenone, as well as ‘Malatesta’ in DON PASQUALE, ‘Belcore’ in L’ELISIR D’AMORE, ‘Vittorio’ in Rota’s I DUE TIMIDI, ‘Argone’ in Jommelli’s IL PARATAJO, Bartolo in LE NOZZE DI FIGARO and others in minor venues, so far.
