Alexander Marev







Alexander Marev is a Polish-Bulgarian Tenor born in 2000. He began his vocal education very young with Bulgarian tenor Kaludi Kaludov. Later on was admitted to the vocal department of the renowned Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel to study under Jose van Dam. Parallel to this training in Belgium, Alexander Marev graduated 2019 in the vocal department of the Elsner music School of Warsaw. In addition he studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of Valerie Guillorit.

He won numerous national singing competitions in his native country Poland and took part to many masterclasses.

For the season 2021/22 he was member of the MM Academy, the Young Talent Program of the Opera La Monnaie/De Munt in Brussel.

In the current season 2022-2023 he will appear as Albazar/IL TURCO IN ITALIA Ovando/ALZIRA, Cacatois XXII - Duc de Tulipatan/L’Ile de Tulipatan by Jacques Offenbach and Poisoon/Adriana Lecouvreur at the Royal Opera House of Wallonie in Liège.

In the recent seasons he made his stage debut as Matteo Borsa in Verdi's RIGOLETTO at the Royal Opera House of Wallonie in  Liège and sung the part of Knappe in concert performances of Richard Wagner's PARSIFAL at La Monnaie/De Munt under the music director Alain Altinoglu.  In concert he performed a Christmas concert at the Royal Palace in Brusselel, broadcasted by the Belgian TV.
