BIOGRAPHY

Aleksandra Łaska, was born in Warsaw, Poland. She studied at the Academy of Music in Lodz, Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and at the Conservatorio di Musica Benedetto Marcello in Venice.

In the season 2024/25 Aleksandra will sing Frasquita in „Carmen” at the Polish National Opera, where she first debuted in 2023 as the First Niece in "Peter Grimes".

In 2024 Aleksandra made her debut at the Polish Royal Opera singing Zofia in Moniuszko’s „Halka”. In 2021 she debuted at the Wroclaw Opera singing Fiordiligi in “Cosi fan tutte”. In 2022, she performed the solo part in the world premiere of "Madonna" by Bassem Akiki and also sang the soprano part in the world premiere of Stefan Wesolowski's "Messiah by Schulz" at the Eufonie Festival.

The album "Chopin University Modern Ensemble - Debut", on which Aleksandra performed the solo part in Luciano Berio's song cycle "Folk songs", was nominated for the Fryderyk 2021 award.

Aleksandra is the winner of the 4th Antonina Campi International Vocal Competition 2024.
