Paolo Ingrasciotta was born in Sicily. He began the study of opera singing with soprano Giuseppina Roberta Brienza in Imola. Later, he attended the Conservatory of Music in Venice and then continued his specialization at the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in the two-year period 2016/18.

Recent notable engagements include Figaro/IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA in a concert performance at the Teatro Grande in Brescia, Marcello/LA BOHEME at the National Theater in Tirana, Schaunard/LA BOHEME at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna. In 2022 Schaunard/ LA BOHEME at Hyogo Performing Arts, under the direction of Yutaka Sado and Procolo/ THE THEATRICAL CONVENIENCES AND INCONVENIENCES in Novara and Savona. In Season 2023 Paolo debuted the role of Taddeo/L'ITALIANA IN ALGERI in Livorno; he will be Morales/CARMEN at the Macerata Opera Festival and Schaunard/LA BOHEME at the Luglio Musicale Trapanese.

Paolo made his stage debut at the Rossini Opera Festival in the role of Trombonok/IL VIAGGIO A REIMS, after attending the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro. This was followed by debuts as Schaunard/LA BOHEME at the Teatro di Treviso, Germano/LA SCALA DI SETA at the Teatro Malibran in Venice, Gaudenzio/IL SIGNOR BRUSCHINO at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza as well as Guglielmo/COSI FAN TUTTE at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, Britten's Demetrius/Midsummer Night's Dream in Como, Brescia and Cremona and Max/BETLY at the Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo.

During recent seasons he debuted the role of Ford/FALSTAFF at Teatro Sociale di Como in a new AsLiCo production, with performances at Teatro Grande in Brescia, Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona, Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, Teatro Fraschini in Pavia and Teatro della Fortuna in Fano. At the Festival del Luglio Musicale Trapanese in Trapani he performed Morales/CARMEN and Jupiter/ORPHEE AUX ENFERS, and with the Orchestra Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini he performed Figaro/IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA at the Auditorium della Rai in Turin.

During his time at the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala he was able to debut in numerous productions including: the title role in Luigi Cherubini's ALIBABÀ, Figaro/IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA, Peter/HÄNSEL UND GRETEL and Don Magnifico/LA CENERENTOLA.

Paolo has collaborated with numerous internationally renowned conductors including Myung-whun Chung, Evelino Pidò, Giovanni Battista Rigon, Marc Albrecht, Jonathan Webb, Gianpaolo Bisanti, Giacomo Sagripanti, Francesco Cilluffo and Paolo Carignani.

He recently played Ping/TURANDOT at the Rete Lirica delle Marche and made his debut as Lord Enrico Ashton/LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR at the National theater in Zagreb in a production by Pier Luigi Pizzi, as well as performed the role of Don Giovanni in concerts at the Macerata Opera Festival.

Paolo has been a finalist and winner of numerous opera competitions including the "Toti dal Monte International Opera Competition" in Treviso, "Giacinto Prandelli" International Opera Competition in Brescia, "Città di Venezia" Opera Prize in Venice, "Salice d'oro" International Opera Competition in Salice d'oro Terme and participated in the finals at "Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition" in Cape Town, South Africa.
